It is with much regret that we recently heard of Ed Needhams passing, Ed had been battling cancer since just before the Covid 19 pandemic.
Whilst Ed was primarily known as a CL team racing competitor, he also took part in CL speed flying and most recently this involved competing in Sport Jet at Barton Club.
Ed was a larger than life character and was certainly good fun to be around, he had a dry wit and sense of humour.
Ed will be missed by the CL speed fliers at Barton and also his many team racing friends.
Our sympathy goes to Ed’s wife Sue and the rest of his family.
Ed’s funeral will be held at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Cambourne, Cornwall TR14 0BL on Thursday April 16th at 2:30pm
