BMFA Speed centralised meeting results for September and October

By | October 17, 2022

The last two BMFA Centralised Open speed meetings of the 2022 season were held on the 24th/25th September and the 16th October.

Entries were low for the September meeting, but meaningful results were obtained.

The final meeting was held last Sunday the 16th October, the turnout was better and the results were incredibly close in the top 4 places. It is welcome to see that a wider spread of model types were being flown in addition to the very popular F2A and Sport Jet classes.

We will have some activities in the winter season, including a Zoom meeting of CL speed fliers around the Christmas holidays and a speed training day at Buckminster in late March.

About Barrie Lever

I am a committed competition modeller, flying RC pylon since 1978 and additionally control line since 2017, although I had held a latent interest in CL speed for decades. I like to make as much of my competition models myself as is possible, this often involves teaming up with other like minded competitors to share the workload.
