Call to arms to assist with the new CL hard circle at Buckminster

By | March 29, 2021

We have had great news from the CL hard circle project group at Buckminster, work is going better than expected and there is a call to arm’s to assist with shuttering work for the inner circle concrete pour, please see note below from Peter Halman on this.

Please contact Manny Williamson at Buckminster if you can lend a hand on Thursday. email manny@bmfa.org

Dear All

There has been a lot of progress with the hard circle at Buckminster, the ground has dried out very quickly and Manny has been able to get some machinery back on site, he and Neil were hard at work today.  Tarmac visited today, they or booked for late May to lay the tarmac so even allowing for some slippage we should be able to use the circle June / July on.

Now to the reason for the calling, we plan to install the inner ring shuttering on Thursday 1st April.  We need hands to help.  Any of you who are available please contact Manny and myself to let us know. If possible please bring a cordless electric drill / screwdriver, a club hammer and a hand saw.

I look forward to seeing lots of you on Thursday.

Best regards

Peter
