Hi Lads, sketch of my proposed model for .29 or .40. Waiting for a special pan. Target is Nats 2021 (Lets hope so!) Any comments and advice gratefully received - its rather a long time since I have done this!

That is a really nice drawing, how is the pan being manufactured?
What engine are you showing in the plan? I am interested in that induction setup?
The chaps fly a 40 model up at Barton with a similar layout, it is powered by a K&B 40 RE

I can't member what engine I used to make the drawing - Maybe OS?
I have a couple of K&B .40's on the way plus I have two K&B DF 7.5cc motors and also 1 Rossi .40 and two OPS 40 pylon engines.
The pan pattern was made for a different (vintage) model actually, but on purpose I made it pretty adaptable. You'll notice that the length between the bearers pads and the front of the pan is pretty long - this is to use the vintage design (White Fawn) but its nothing a hacksaw and a file can't fix for "normal" use. Its being cast in the UK but so far I'm not actually sure when it will be available.
