Hi Chaps, for my foray into the 2021 Nats - which I hope, as do we all, will actually happen - I want to make some asymmetric 40 to .60 models and as I'm a lazy bar-steward I'd like to make carbon wings from a mould. I'm guessing - and by the way please do put me tight here since I have bugger-all idea what I'm talking about - the a .29 model wing would actually not be really different in size from a .60 model. Is that correct? OK, if so, could any of you sagacious speed demons give me some approximate sizes - or even better a sketch of what might work? root chord, tip chord, span, taper?? I'd be really grateful and it would save me doing copious research and head scratching.
All suggestions gratefully received.
Ta muchley to any who can help.
Hambone the impaler.

I will get Chris Martindale to chime in on the carbon wing, he has a mould for a 29-40 asymmetric wing and he has made a few examples in recent months.
What engines are you planning on using?

Barrie
Hi Barrie - sorry not to get back on this a bit sooner. I was looking at the other Barton C/L Facebook site.
Do you have contact info for Chris M?
Cheers,
James.
Hello Jim
Yes I have contact details for Chris, I will send via a private message.
How are the Weatherman fuz's getting on?
Regards
Barrie
Thanks Barrie,
talking to Chris now.
All is ready for the Weatherman Fuz's - except me. I have a new, full-sized, well, Ultralight aircraft design contract, and a new (model) 4 Metre alpine sailplane on the CNC milling machine so I'm afraid I'm a bit busy with other stuff at the mo,
This will improve.
Cheers,
J.
